Vendor Eligibility and Requirements.

Peach Place is a unique experience where friends, neighbours, family, tourists as well as the local community can come together to enjoy a year round marketspace of local vendors.

We are accepting new applications!

Interested in becoming an artisan vendor at Peach Place? We would love to hear from you! We are incredibly passionate about creating a supportive community for local handmade artisans and also about helping one another thrive. Peach Place Marketspace is a place where hand/homemade, crafters, makers and small businesses can grow and be successful. Want the benefits of a bricks and mortar retail store space, without the risks and overhead costs? Peach Place is the perfect place to be!


 Vendors can choose the term of time they wish to participate in the Market.  

We split the year into 3 month terms. Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec


Vendors must be Local Okanagan Artisans, Makers, Creators or Small Business Resellers.

We accept vendors whose products are handmade, locally produced or created or small business entrepreneurs without a brick and mortar shop. We only accept 1 vendor from each category of sales.

VENDOR  Fees & Commission Rate

Monthly fee of $30 plus a Commission split of 70% - 30% (Vendor-Market) on product sales.

70% of all vendor sales are paid to the Vendor on the 10th of the month for the prior month. 

Commission fees include sales processing fees, website listings and accounting fees. Sold inventory sheet accompanies vendor payments for your accounting purposes. Your pricing must include all applicable taxes, as Peach Place Marketspace does not charge nor collect taxes on behalf of vendors.

VENDOR Pop Up Market Fees

There will be 1 Pop Up Market Event per month that will allow additional vendors to set up shop in our lobby. 

A Table fee of $40 per day will apply to Vendors for Pop Up Markets, No Commissions apply..

VENDOR Social Media

All Vendors must be actively using social media to promote their products at Peach Place. We work hard to promote Peach Place using various social media and advertising platforms, and will provide you with marketing material to share on your social media.

VENDOR Insurance

Vendors are required to provide their own insurance and comply with Provincial Regulations regarding products sold. Peach Place does NOT extend coverage to vendors, and therefore are responsible for obtaining their own insurance.

Food Vendors must comply with provincial food regulations and have Food Safe.

Peach Place Marketspace does not assume responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged goods or personal effects on premise.

Peach Place Marketspace is NOT a Consignment based business, it is a vendor co-operative and offers reduced commission and fees for volunteer hours..

VENDOR Volunteering

Vendors may volunteer hours as a sales person at Peach Place to reduce their monthly fee or commission rate. 

Commission Barter:   1 shift = 2.5%. Max 4 Shifts per month to a maximum of 10% reduction in commissions.

Monthly Fee Barter: 3 shifts = 1 Month of Fees

VENDOR Products

Placement of all products in the marketspace is at the discretion of the Market Manager.  Items will be moved and placed where best suited to be seen and sell. All Vendor items must be marked with a tag. Tag must include Product Name, SKU & Price, this must match your inventory list. Inventory list must be provided to the market prior to items being displayed for sale.   All taxes are to be included in your pricing.

Peach Place Right of Refusal

Peach Place Marketspace reserves the right to refuse any vendor, as well as request a vendor remove their items from the Marketspace.

The benefits of becoming a VENDOR:

Along with all the usual activities involved in running a retail space (like staffing the store, general maintenance, handling payment transactions and keeping inventory) we offer the following services to our valued artisans:

  • All purchases are beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and packed in decorative bags
  • Hourly upkeep of the space and the shelves, including tidying
  • Knowledgeable staff member on hand to answer customer questions about your products
  • Vendor bios and business logos are displayed throughout the retail space and on the website
  • Consistent store hours. The store is open at minimum 5 days a week. (With extended hours leading up to holidays)
  • Security cameras, Secured Locked Location. 
  • Inventory management system with Monthly Inventory Report.
  • Monthly sales reports and payouts via e-transfer on the 10th of the following month
  • Social media, PR support and  media coverage

Some of the unique things that we offer our Vendors at Peach Place:

  • All store shelving is provided, so the displays have a cohesive look. That means vendors don’t have to personally purchase a dedicated display shelf and go through the hassle of lugging it to the store and setting it up. Of course, you are more than welcome to bring in small display supports to use within the larger shelves.
  • We offer every vendor a FREE VERY Small storage space, to hold extra product. This is especially helpful for vendors who are located a distance from the store, as it allows them to keep more products ‘at the ready’ for restocking and it also reduces the need to visit the store frequently for restocking. (Although, we are always thrilled to have our vendors pop in for a visit at any time!)
  • We can restock and merchandise your shelves with product from the storage area if you wish, for FREE.
  • We also offer FREE restocking services for those who can’t make it to the store in person. Just send us your goods via mail/courier and we will put them out for you.
  • FREE customer pick ups for sales you make elsewhere (e.g. on your personal website, through markets etc.) As long as the product has already been paid for, the customer can pick it up at Peach Place at no extra cost to you and at no extra cost to them. If you need us to accept payment for the item on your behalf, then commission fees will apply to cover payment processing, admin and accounting costs. Market must be informed of customer pickups daily.
  • In house photography capability for stock advertising.
